Overview

BGIN coordinates multi-stakeholder dialogue on how DLT stacks, wallets, and operators migrate to post-quantum cryptography without inventing new algorithms. Work focuses on crypto-agility patterns, staged rollout, deployment gaps, and neutral measurement — feeding Block meetings and GDC26.

Expected deliverables

  • Practical guidance on PQC migration for blockchain stacks
  • Crypto-agility architecture patterns (hybrid / algorithm agility)
  • Inputs to neutral evaluation and measurement (testbed coordination)
  • Session outcomes and meeting reports from Block meetings

Current status

Dedicated sessions at Block 13 and Block 14 produced meeting reports. Outreach continues for GDC26 (2–3 Sep 2026) and Block 15 (Oct 2026, Washington, D.C.), including dialogue with research and evaluation partners.
