Session Overview

A focused working session on the Accountable Wallet framework — a standards-track approach to decentralised compliance verification for blockchain wallets. Building on the published paper and continued development across Blocks 12 and 13, this session advances wallet governance models that balance user sovereignty with accountability requirements. Participants will examine key management architectures, Verification Data Record specifications, credential integration for selective disclosure, and the Watcher network that enables compliance without centralised gatekeepers.

Agenda

1. Defining 'accountable wallet' — user versus regulatory perspectives
2. Key management architectures that support accountability
3. Verification Data Records: specification updates and on-chain implementation
4. Recovery mechanisms and their accountability implications
5. Credential integration for selective disclosure
6. Balancing privacy with compliance: technical approaches
7. Agent Hack connection: Swordsman identity and the key ceremony
